This is a drawing of a Blood elf engineer from wow.
The reason she is mostly naked is because this was mainly just a study I did to test out some different rendering. (I'm going to draw a fully armored version of her later on)
The background is just sketchy, not meant to be anything special. I was focusing on skin and hair mainly. I've always had a lot of trouble with rendering hair and I'm always trying to figure out new methods of drawing it. Hopefully it looks good. It would be nice to get some opinions on the technique itself(not the subject matter).

Sketchy background? It's 100x better than any of my backgrounds (when I can at all be bothered to draw them xD )

I think my only real critique about this is her breasts. For hardly wearing anything, it looks like she's either got serious breast implants or a nice big push-up bra. This effect, I think, is caused partly by the lighting effects on the top of her breasts which makes it look like they're held push or held up rather than hanging from that skin, and partly because, again the lighting but also the snug fit of her tabard makes it seem almost a tad too small for her breasts, stretching across them but not altering their form due to either implants or a padded push-up bra keeping the shape.

I could critique the large size of the eyes but maybe you're going for something a little manga-esque here? Or perhaps she's just young? (guessing from large eyes, round-ish face and short-ish ears.) Either way, I love the light effects around her eyes. I'm still trying to work out the light and shading of glowing eyes. I think actually that this picture might help me in that department! So a big thanks to you!

As for the rest, I like the soft skin colors and it feels like you really got her shapes down, even that nightmarish job of drawing a foot seen from the front! How did you manage?! D:

Thanks for the comment!
Ya I may have gone a little overboard with her breasts. All the anime drawings are going to my head @_@ She is wearing a tight wrapped bandage thing over her torso, so I guess that could account for a little bit of push-up.(But I notice now that I didn't indicate that it was going over her breasts under the tabard.)

You are correct about her being younger. I intended her to be maybe late teens or so. I guess she developed well? I usually don't draw large breasts >.>
As for the lighting around the eyes, I just took the eye colour and blended it very lightly with the skin tone around that area. very easy method of getting that glowy feel without using a soft round brush to do it which tends to hide details.

Ugh that foot was giving me nightmares, I hate drawing feet. But I just played around with them for a while and eventually got something I thought was ok.

Something you thought was okay? Have you seen the feet I've tried to draw? Bird's feet are easier than our strange walking contraptions! xD

Great technique :) I like your painting style. Her hair looks almost real. Some critique - I dont like her eyes they look a bit cold. The paintings colors seem a bit bland.

Thanks, what would you suggest for the eyes?
The blandness may be due to me not using enough contrasting colours over the whole piece in general.
